One key element of my practice and the practice of my studio Liebermann Kiepe is to work on something we call a more human web. Todays web mainly exists of template designs that present content but not represent it. These templates are not individual, static, generic and robotic.
Designing with humour and fun is one way to achieve a more human web.
For my masters project called THEHARDESTONLINESHOP.COM I rethought conventions in web design and usability. In this case: the button. Unlike Usability Standards I designed the interaction of it as hard as possible to press. I designed three types of button interactions that challenges the user but makes the pressing of the button fun again, even though it might be harder.
